What condiments for non-alcoholic gin and tonic?

The hardest task when making G&T with non-alcoholic gin is replicating the dry kick of the alcohol.

While the final result is never going to be quite the same, the easiest way to replicate a real G&T in mocktails is by adding condiments. Some that work well are:

  • Cardamom pods – gently crush a couple of them to release the flavor and add to your drink
  • Peppercorn -black but especially pink peppercorns work great with gin
  • Juniper berries – what can evoke real gin better than the berries it is made of?
  • Rosemary – a lovely way to recreate the botanical flavor of gin
